ABOUT US

LAW SCHOOL ADMISSIONS EXPERTS.
THIS IS HOW WE DO IT.

OUR STORY

Our story at UniWise is rooted in the unique experiences and challenges encountered by our founder during his law school journey. Generally, first-year law students at the University of Auckland have to compete with approximately over one thousand other law students for around 200-300 spots to advance to Law Part II, the real law school. As a first-generation and mature law student, in addition to facing intense academic pressure, he also has to confront the fierce competition from outstanding students with legal backgrounds and the challenges brought about by information asymmetry.

Our founder has gained invaluable insights through his remarkable journey through law school, marked by accomplishments such as ranking first-in-class in several papers, winning the Impromptu Moot and publishing in an esteemed law journal. After graduation, he secured the highly sought-after prestigious role of Judges' Clerk and Senior Lead Tutor at the University of Auckland Law School. In addition, he also serves as a Judge of the Moot Court at the Auckland Law School, a Council Member of the Law Association of New Zealand, convenor of the NextGen Lawyers Committee of TLANZ and he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Public Interest Law Journal of New Zealand.

Looking back on his past experiences, our founder deeply understands the intense competition many law students face in their first year of law school and the regret of missing out on Law Part II offers due to a lack of experience when facing legal essays and exams for the first time. Inspired by his own journey and driven by his vision to help other aspiring law students achieve their dreams, our founder established UniWise.

Leveraging his extensive experience as Auckland Law School Senior Lead Tutor and exam marker, he leads our "A" grade team of tutors to provide academic support, tailored coaching, and strategic guidance to each student, maximising their academic potential to stand out in fierce competition and also achieve success in their future legal careers. This would serve as a true springboard to transform one's life and the lives of their families for generations to come.

The path may be long and challenging, but with determination, the future is promising. UniWise will walk alongside you on this exciting journey.
